Travelpack Samples

The following are some of the manufacturers that currently make travelpacks, with some sample product names to get you started. Some (especially Jansport and Eagle Creek) also make horrendously humongous travelpacks models (take that tape measure with you). Just as with the large rolling uprights, be careful not to get any that'll have the airline crew forcing you to check in your precious bag at the last minute!

Note: Manufacturers are always designing and releasing new/updated designs. The models you see here should serve as a general guideline to you, and not necessarily an actual shopping list.

Atlantic travelpack

  • Campmor currently has these on sale for $149.99.
  • Details: Carry-on travelpack has a zip-off daypack . Unlike most other travelpacks, the backpack strap area unzips entirely (the covering is then rolled up and tucked away with Velcro). Two notes: 1) The extra large version is too big as a carry-on. 2) Their tag advertises a url (www.pangaea-travel.com) that is nonfunctional as of mid-July 1998.
